This Monotype is a one-of-a-kind print. There is only one. I created it by manipulating the ink on a smooth metal printing plate and by adding and subtracting the objects from my garden. The image then gets transferred to paper by putting it through a printmaking press. By pressing the ink & paper together with the pigments sandwiched in between, I am able to create textures not possible using other printmaking techniques. It is printed with a mixture of oil-based inks to create this unique rich maple red colour ink colour on Stonehenge Archival Printmaking Paper.
This print is presented in a plastic sleeve with a board backing. A small write up on my printing process is also included. Prints are shipped out in a protective envelope to ensure they reach you safely.
